Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative in the Nashville area. You will be the primary contact for medical professionals, delivering clinical knowledge of Amgen products and guiding them through the complex payer landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, or associate degree with 4+ years sales experience.
• High school diploma with 8 years sales/clinical experience.
• Sales, marketing and/or clinical experience within pharma/biotech/healthcare industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide current knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
• Lead branded sales messages and programs to achieve territory sales targets.
• Develop relationships to service accounts, ensure product access, and resolve reimbursement issues.
• Collaborate with District Manager to develop territory plans and improve sales effectiveness.
• Share feedback on marketing strategy and sales activities to improve results.
• Demonstrate passion for Amgen products and maintain brand integrity through the sales cycle.
