Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. seeks a Chief Boiler Room Engineer to coordinate, direct and supervise staff responsible for operating and maintaining steam generation, central air conditioning, chilled water systems and all Power Plant equipment at the Perth Amboy Division.

Required are a New Jersey Blue Seal Operating Engineer License, a High School diploma or GED, and five years of boiler room experience (or four years with one year of maintenance and one year refrigeration).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Blue Seal Operating Engineer License required.
• Five (5) years boiler room experience or four (4) years boiler room experience and one (1) year maintenance in addition to one (1) year of refrigeration experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, directs and supervises employees engaged in the operation and maintenance of steam generation, central air conditioning, chilled water systems and all associated Power Plant equipment at the Perth Amboy Division.
