Job summary

CareWell Health is seeking an Engineer Black Seal to maintain and operate boilers and related equipment in the boiler room of our hospital. The role includes preventive maintenance, routine readings, and responding to plant operation calls to uphold quality standards.

Minimum Education/Certifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and Blue seal certification; 1–5 years of hospital maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Blue seal certification required.
• 1–5 years’ hospital maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate boilers and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled by Supervisor.
• Take hourly rounds and record readings in logs.
• Respond to calls or work orders pertaining to plant operation.
• Endorse reports on equipment condition to relief operator.
• Monitor oil delivery and readings; adjust equipment as needed.
• Test water treatment and maintain set standards.
• Operate boilers to supply steam, hot water, and air conditioning.
