Job summary

Perdue AgriBusiness is seeking a Senior Boiler Operator to lead the safe, reliable operation of boiler systems and ensure uninterrupted plant operations. You will supervise maintenance, respond to emergencies, and monitor water quality, keeping accurate records and upholding safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role offers a base rate of $43.39 per hour plus possible pay premiums, shift differentials, overtime, and annual bonus based on performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5–7 years of boiler operation experience.
• State Stationary Engineer Level 1 License required.
• Valid state driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on boiler equipment.
• Diagnose failures of boiler equipment and make repairs.
• Rebuild boiler equipment as needed.
• Maintain records and logs as required.
• Compile and complete paperwork related to repairs, including work orders, timecards, and job cards.
• Perform all work within safety guidelines established by local, state, and federal agencies, as well as company policies.
