Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a full-time Boiler Combustion Technician to diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial boiler systems in the Baltimore/Washington DC area. You will lead rebuilds, mentor junior technicians, and travel locally as needed, while maintaining safety protocols and certifications.

You should have a high school diploma or GED, HVAC certification preferred, and 5+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience with increasing responsibility or equivalent education/experience.
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
• EPA approved Universal Technician Certification (preferred).
• OSHA 10 certification (preferred).
• Current first aid / CPR card (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of commercial boilers and associated equipment, including logging operations and lubrication.
• Repair and replacement of defective equipment related to boilers, burners, and combustion controls.
• Inspect equipment to identify potential problems to prevent breakdowns.
• Lead rebuild and retrofit of boiler and combustion systems; mentor Levels I and II.
• Interact with customers, provide status updates, and explain technical information clearly.
• Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, and other articles timely.
• Attend training through regional trainers and factory training; maintain certifications.
