Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a full-time Boiler Combustion Technician in the Washington DC area to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial boiler equipment. You will log operations, adjust combustion, perform preventative maintenance, and help ensure reliable boiler performance.

You'll work with boilers, burners, and combustion controls, lead small upgrades, mentor junior technicians, and interact with customers to provide clear status updates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or preferred as stated.
• Associates Degree or HVAC certification is preferred.
• EPA Universal Technician Certification is preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification is preferred.
• Current first aid / CPR card is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance of commercial boilers and related equipment, including logging operations, adjusting combustion, annual service, rebuilding components, cleaning heat exchangers, and lubrication.
• Repair and replacement of defective equipment, components, or wiring related to boilers, burners, combustion control systems, DA surge tanks, pumps, valves, and actuators.
• Maintain and inspect equipment to prevent premature breakdowns or callbacks.
• Analyze boiler and combustion trend data to ensure optimal performance.
• Lead rebuilds and retrofits of boiler and combustion control systems, guiding Levels I and II technicians through procedures.
• Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, and other articles promptly.
• Explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences during service visits.
• Participate in available training and maintain required certifications.
