Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. in San Diego seeks a Sr Staff Board Engineer to lead the design of high-speed PCB layouts for DC, server and compute reference designs.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn schematics into manufacturable, high-quality layouts meeting aggressive performance targets. Ideal candidates have 12+ years in PCB high-speed design, HDI packaging, and hands-on use of Xpedition/Allegro or Cadence tools, with focus on RF/analog and power delivery.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in a related field with hardware experience.
• 12+ years in PCB high-speed design & HDI packaging.
• Experience with Xpedition or Allegro PCB design tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout PCBs for DC, server, and compute reference designs.
• Develop high-speed, multi-layer stack-ups meeting manufacturing standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver high-performance PWB solutions.
• Support fabrication and assembly throughout the product lifecycle.
