Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to join a team developing next-generation high-speed digital platforms.

You will drive schematic capture, BOM management, and oversee PCB layout with cross-functional teams to ensure performance and reliability. You will perform board bring-up, debugging, and validation in the lab, collaborating with Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, and firmware groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years of hardware engineering or related product development experience.
• Hands-on use of lab test equipment to diagnose hardware issues.

Responsibilities

• Drive schematic capture and BOM management for multi-layer digital designs.
• Oversee physical PCB layout and ensure high-speed routing compliance.
• Perform board bring-up, debugging, and verification in lab.
• Collaborate with Signal Integrity and Power Integrity teams to optimize layouts.
• Document test plans, validation reports, and ECOs.
