Job summary

Mantis Innovation is seeking a BMS Service Technician II to support mission-critical building management systems across the country with extensive overnight travel. The role focuses on independently troubleshooting, servicing, and commissioning BMS systems in commercial and industrial environments.

You will diagnose hardware, software, and networked control issues, perform system upgrades, backups, and startups, and ensure all work is documented and completed within SLA timelines.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of BMS, building automation, or HVAC controls experience.
• Proficiency with Tridium Niagara (N4) or equivalent controls systems.
• Strong troubleshooting capability across control systems (hardware, software, and networked systems).

Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoot, service, and commission BMS systems in mission-critical environments.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networked control system issues.
• Execute service tickets from assignment through full resolution within SLA timelines.
• Perform system upgrades, backups, restores, and configuration changes.
• Execute commissioning and startup activities, including validation of system performance.
• Install and configure control system components, including sensors, controllers, and panels.
• Read and interpret control drawings to identify issues and implement solutions.
