Job summary

CommonSpirit Health seeks a Senior Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET Sr) to lead clinical engineering efforts, oversee service shop operations, and ensure reliability and safety of critical medical equipment across facilities. You will manage maintenance, calibration programs, and compliance documentation while mentoring technicians to elevate team performance.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Electrical, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or related field or equivalent military training/experience.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience servicing technical equipment.
Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

Performs significant preventative maintenance, safety tests and calibration for equipment.
Provides equipment repair throughout the responsible area.
Completes all necessary record-keeping for work orders received and finished.
Prioritizes workload effectively with minimal supervision.
Solves organization-level customer service issues and complaints with minimal supervision.
Assists in ordering parts and supplies necessary for servicing equipment.
