Job summary

Trinity Health's Clinical Engineering team seeks BMET I–Senior to provide maintenance, calibration, and repair of general diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment across facilities.

You will perform PM and CM, document activities, coordinate with staff, order parts, and participate in on-call coverage during evenings and weekends; must follow regulatory standards and uphold Trinity Health values.

Qualifications

• Associates of Applied Sciences Degree in medical electronics or related field required.
• 1–2 years experience performing preventative and corrective maintenance on medical equipment.
• Basic understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Ability to use hand tools and test equipment, and train others on selected test equipment.
• Familiarity with OSHA, NFPA, Joint Commission, FDA regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs Planned Maintenance (PM) on multiple types of general and specialized clinical equipment.
• Performs corrective maintenance and diagnostic testing to determine equipment condition.
• Documents maintenance activities and part requests per policy.
• Communicates repair status and timelines to equipment users and CE management.
• Order parts and supplies as needed and coordinate with vendors.
• Provides on-call service coverage and supports shift work requirements.
• Maintains compliance with regulatory standards and Trinity Health policies.
