Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Sr Biomedical Equipment Technician to manage a service shop and oversee daily operations. You will provide repair, calibration, incoming inspection, and maintenance for a wide range of medical equipment ensuring safety and reliability for patient care.

The role requires strong technical proficiency, good organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate work orders, stock parts, and collaborate with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electrical, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience servicing technical equipment.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Backfills CE Lead as needed.
• Conducts preventative maintenance, safety tests, and calibration.
• Repairs equipment and prioritizes workload with minimal supervision.
• Manages work order records and resolves customer service issues.
• Orders parts and supplies for equipment servicing.
• Cross-trains technicians and collaborates with colleagues.
