Job Summary And Responsibilities

Join our in‑house Clinical Engineering team as a Sr Biomedical Technician (BMET) to support patient care by ensuring medical equipment operates accurately through preventative maintenance and repairs.

• Coverage and support for CE Lead during absences.
• Perform significant preventative maintenance, safety tests, and calibration for equipment.
• Provide equipment repair throughout responsible area.
• Prioritize workload effectively with minimal supervision.
• Complete all necessary record keeping for work orders received and/or finished.
• Solve organization‑level customer service issues and complaints with minimal supervision.
• Assist in ordering parts and supplies necessary for servicing equipment.
• Perform cross‑training to other technicians on acquired skills.
• Effectively communicate and partner with teammates and colleagues.

Education

Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or related field, equivalent military education, graduate of technical program, or equivalent training validated through training certificates, or equivalent experience.

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience servicing technical equipment.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• CBET preferred.

On‑Call Schedule

Participation in a rotational on‑call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be available to respond to urgent service needs outside regular business hours and may be required to return to the facility on short notice.
