Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a hands-on Manager of Bench Technical Services to lead a team of Biomedical Equipment Technicians (BMETs), Biomedical Engineers, and Medical Device Technicians responsible for repair, testing, calibration, maintenance, and technical support of medical devices.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of progressive technical experience in the medical device sector, with supervisory experience and a strong background in electrical/electronic troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive technical experience in medical devices or healthcare tech.
• Experience supervising BMETs or medical device technicians.
• Strong electrical/electronics troubleshooting background.
• Experience with FDA/ISO quality systems and service records.
• Leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Biomedical/Technical Services department, ensuring productivity, quality, turnaround times, and customer expectations are met.
• Directly supervise, coach, train, and develop a team of approximately 15 BMETs/medical device technicians.
• Oversee repair, preventive maintenance, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and upgrades of medical devices and biomedical equipment.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues and support technicians with advanced troubleshooting and repairs.
• Analyze service metrics, equipment performance, customer feedback, and operational trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, service quality, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
