Job summary

Capital i is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician Level IV (BMET IV) at Fort Detrick, MD. The SME will support enterprise-level maintenance programs, conduct research, and provide strategic recommendations to improve Army medical maintenance operations.

The ideal candidate has extensive BMET experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to mentor junior staff. Travel up to 25% may be required; competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of directly related BMET experience with four+ years in supervision.
• Proficient in CMMS, Excel, and related systems.
• Strong regulatory knowledge and writing skills.
• Experience with DoD medical lifecycle management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on maintenance issues and projects, providing reports and briefings.
• Analyze data related to maintenance operations and regulatory requirements to develop recommendations.
• Provide technical support for the command maintenance discipline program.
• Develop and lead medical maintenance projects to optimize operations.
• Monitor MMQC compliance across owning units.
