Job summary
Capital i seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician III (BMET III) to provide senior-level maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle support for a broad range of medical equipment within the VA Biomedical Engineering Department at Hot Springs, SD. Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in biomedical equipment technology, biomedical engineering technology, electronics, or related field.
- Minimum of five years of hospital/healthcare medical equipment maintenance experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS familiarity.
Responsibilities
- Perform PMs, calibrations, and repairs on medical equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using manuals and schematics.
- Document service actions according to VA policies and regulatory requirements.
- Lead maintenance and calibration for diverse medical devices and equipment.
