Placements24 is recruiting a Senior Blockchain Security Auditor to join our client’s security team in Welkom, Free State. You will conduct in-depth audits of smart contracts, DApps, and blockchain protocols, identify vulnerabilities, and drive remediation with development teams.

You must have at least 6 years in cybersecurity with 4+ years in blockchain security, strong skills in Solidity, penetration testing, and security reporting.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field.
• Minimum 6 years in cybersecurity with at least 4 years in blockchain security.
• Deep knowledge of smart contract languages (Solidity) and common vulnerabilities.
• Experience with penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and security reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive security audits of smart contracts, DApps, and blockchain protocols.
• Identify vulnerabilities, bugs, and potential security risks in code and system architecture.
• Conduct penetration testing and exploit analysis to validate security findings.
• Develop and implement security best practices for blockchain development and deployment.
• Create detailed audit reports outlining findings, risks, and remediation recommendations.
• Mentor junior security analysts and auditors.
