Job summary

CertiK is seeking a security-focused professional to advance our blockchain security services, intersecting cybersecurity and blockchain. This full-time role involves hacking, threat modeling, scanning, auditing, and designing secure applications with opportunities to contribute to R&D efforts.

You will perform security assessments across web, mobile, and browser extensions, conduct network pentests, review code, and produce clear reports for diverse audiences while staying current on blockchain

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in application security and penetration testing.
• Experience in source code review for JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience in mobile application penetration testing.
• Familiar with cloud platforms and their security risks (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of cryptography and secure coding practices.
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or Information Security.

Responsibilities

• Perform security assessments on web, mobile, thick client applications, and browser extensions.
• Conduct external and internal network penetration tests.
• Perform security source code reviews.
• Perform cloud security reviews.
• Develop comprehensive pentest reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Research and develop innovative pentesting techniques for blockchain space.
• Contribute to the community with tools, presentations, and blog posts.
