Placements24 seeks a highly experienced Senior Blockchain Security Auditor to join our client in Welkom, Free State. You will identify and mitigate security risks across smart contracts, DApps, and blockchain protocols, conducting in-depth assessments, pentests, and vulnerability analyses to safeguard digital assets.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in cybersecurity with 4+ years in blockchain security and strong knowledge of Solidity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, or related field.
• 6+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 4 years in blockchain security.
• Knowledge of Solidity and common smart contract vulnerabilities.
• Proficiency with security auditing tools and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of blockchain architecture, cryptography, and consensus.
• Experience with pentesting and vulnerability assessment.
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, OSCP) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive security audits of smart contracts, DApps, and protocols.
• Identify vulnerabilities, bugs, and security risks in code and architecture.
• Conduct penetration testing and exploit analysis to validate findings.
• Develop and implement security best practices for blockchain deployment.
• Create audit reports with findings, risks, and remediation recommendations.
• Mentor junior security analysts and auditors.
