Job summary

Aquent is seeking a Senior Engineer, Blockchain Platforms for a pioneering financial institution in Southlake, TX. This onsite role focuses on building and integrating the core blockchain infrastructure that underpins digital asset custody and tokenization.

You will work hands-on across Layer-1 protocols, wallet services, data pipelines, and observability, partnering with security and custody teams to ensure secure, scalable, and production-ready systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on blockchain or distributed ledger experience.
• Experience with backend services, APIs, and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Go, Java, Rust, Python, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Build and integrate core blockchain infrastructure services, including custody-focused components.
• Design and implement data pipelines, indexers, explorers, and observability tooling.
• Develop wallet architecture, signing workflows, and transaction submission pipelines.
• Integrate custody key management systems and secure protocol boundaries.
• Collaborate with custody and security teams to validate end‑to‑end transaction flows.
