Aquent Talent partners with a leading financial services institution to hire a Senior Security Engineer to own custody architecture, KMS, HSMs, MPC, and risk posture across digital asset platforms. This role demands deep crypto security experience and hands-on design ownership.

You will influence critical decisions in high-trust environments, drive incident response, disaster recovery, and AI-augmented engineering practices, reporting into security leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with security-sensitive or cryptographic systems.
• Hands-on experience with HSMs, MPC frameworks, and secure key management.
• Experience with security tooling like Slither, Mythril, Foundry Fuzzing.

Responsibilities

• Define custody architecture and make critical design decisions across HSMs, MPC, and key storage.
• Design and enforce Custody Policy Engine with auditable controls.
• Own disaster recovery strategies, incident response runbooks, and post-incident reviews.
• Ensure custody designs scale across wallets, blockchains, and tokenized products.
• Leverage GenAI tools to accelerate architecture design and threat modeling.
