Job summary

Cari Network is building a blockchain-based payment system for real-time cross-ecosystem transfers. You will own the integration layer between backend services and custody platforms, ensuring transaction integrity from calldata to on-chain finality on a private ZKsync-based L2.

You will also manage significant parts of the smart contract suite, focusing on upgrade safety, event integrity, and audit trails for regulated bank partners.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of backend software engineering experience.
• At least 3 years working directly on EVM-compatible blockchain systems.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript; experience with effect.ts valued.
• Production Solidity development experience, upgradeable proxies (UUPS) and OpenZeppelin.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end transaction lifecycle: calldata construction, nonce management, L2 submission, finality.
• Design signing pipeline architecture and RFCs for other engineers.
• Define production-ready metrics: alerts, runbooks, and SLOs; lead incident response.
• Build and maintain payment integrity controls and co-signer policy evaluation.
• Extend Solidity contracts focusing on upgrade safety and storage layout.
