Barclays in Whippany, NJ is seeking a Senior Blockchain DevOps Engineer - AVP to build and operate DevOps, automation, deployment, and observability for the Digital Assets Platform. The role focuses on secure, scalable blockchain infrastructure and wallet services across open and permissioned networks.

You will collaborate with blockchain engineers, wallet teams, security, and infrastructure to automate deployments, strengthen production readiness, and ensure resilient delivery in a regulated

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating DevOps for mission-critical platforms, incl. CI/CD and release automation.
• Hands-on deployment and operation of blockchain infra and wallet services (validators, RPC, signing, APIs).
• Experience operating in on-premises and hybrid environments with strong security controls.
• Ability to implement end-to-end observability across blockchain and wallet components.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and operate infrastructure ensuring reliability and security.
• Drive automation to reduce manual interventions and improve deployment quality.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, and security teams to meet objectives.
• Maintain security posture and resilience of BDAP delivery environments.
