Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with core infrastructure software and distributed systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize Block Production mechanisms to enhance throughput and stability of the Solana network.
• Develop and refine scheduling mechanisms for block production and verification, enabling efficient transaction processing and predictable performance.
• Identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities within the pipeline to protect against threats.
• Improve scalability and performance of the validator pipeline to handle increasing transaction volumes.
• Create and execute tests, including stress tests and performance benchmarks, for reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with core protocol engineers, security experts, and infra teams for seamless integration.
• Maintain thorough documentation of block production and scheduling protocols and conduct peer code reviews.
• Design and maintain high-performance shared-memory interfaces between scheduling and execution stages.
