Job summary

Anza is seeking a Senior Software Engineer focused on block production, scheduling, and verification to fortify the Agave client and the Solana network. You will optimize the core pipeline between networking and runtime, handling ingested transactions and coordinating block-generation with security and performance in mind.

You will work to ensure secure, scalable, and low-latency block production, with collaboration across protocol, security, and infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of hands-on infra software and distributed systems experience.
• Strong proficiency in Rust, C, or C++.
• Experience with distributed systems and blockchain tech is highly desirable.
• Security-minded approach to block production pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize block production mechanisms to improve throughput and stability of the network.
• Refine scheduling for block production and verification for fair resource allocation and predictable performance.
• Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities in the pipeline.
• Improve scalability and performance of the validator pipeline.
• Create and execute tests including stress tests, fault injections, and benchmarks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration and quality.
• Document protocols and perform peer code reviews to maintain high standards.
• Design and maintain high-performance shared-memory interfaces between scheduling and execution stages.
