Job summary

Dyno Nobel is seeking a Blaster to design, layout, prepare and detonate planned explosive blasts at customer sites in the United States. You will supervise the blast crew, ensure safe application, accurate product use, and compliance with Service Operations procedures.

The role requires 3+ years in the explosives industry, strong leadership, and a record of safe, reliable blasting execution. ATF background clearance is required and you must be 21 or older.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related explosives industry work.
• 2+ years working experience with progressively increasing responsibility.
• People management skills including leadership, performance management and coaching.
• Experience as a supervisor is preferred.
• Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Design, layout, prepare and detonate planned explosive blasts to meet customer requirements.
• Supervise blast crew and ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and proper documentation.
• Maintain knowledge of Dyno Nobel products and blasting practices.
• Complete electronic blasting reports and inventory records.
• Collaborate with regional management and DynoConsult on blasting improvements.
