Job summary

Flex Wind is seeking an Experienced Blade Repair Technician — Level D for onshore wind projects in the United States. The role requires leading advanced blade repairs, mentoring junior technicians, and ensuring OEM-compliant repairs across multiple sites nationwide.

The candidate must hold Active Siemens Blade Repair Level D Certification, have 3+ years of blade repair experience, and be willing to travel extensively. Strong English communication and safety record are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of advanced wind turbine blade repair experience.
• Active Siemens Blade Repair Level D Certification.
• Proven experience with high-complexity structural repairs on utility-scale blades.
• Strong ability to interpret OEM repair manuals and technical docs.
• Professional leadership and mentoring capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of critical blade repair campaigns, including sequencing and material selection.
• Serve as the primary technical expert for blade damage assessments and repair strategy decisions.
• Ensure compliance with OEM repair procedures and project quality requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Level B and C technicians.
• Interface with customers, site management, project teams, and OEM reps.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and repair reports.
