Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Executive Director - Business Information Security Officer (BISO) to lead the BISO team and embed security strategy across CVS Health lines of business.

The role requires senior leadership, strong communication with executive teams, and the ability to drive risk-informed decision-making at scale. The BISO will define governance, KPIs, and reporting, while guiding cross-functional initiatives and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in senior-level leadership roles with responsibility for strategy and people leadership.
• 5+ years of program and project management leading cross-functional initiatives.
• 5+ years partnering with business unit leaders to translate cybersecurity risk into business terms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to business unit leadership and align cybersecurity with lifecycle initiatives.
• Define and report KPIs and metrics in terms accessible to senior leadership.
• Drive risk management by defining security objectives and prioritizing cross-team execution.
• Lead or support large-scale cross-functional initiatives with timely delivery.
• Develop communications tailored for internal and external stakeholders at senior levels.
• Analyze data to support decisions, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
