Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb Co is seeking an Associate Director, Biostatistics to join cross-functional development teams and drive trial design, analysis planning, and regulatory submissions. You will collaborate with indication leads and other functions to deliver high-quality statistical contributions.

The role requires advanced degrees in statistics/biostatistics, strong programming in SAS/R/Python, and demonstrated leadership in project management and regulatory contexts.

Qualifications

• PhD (6+ years’ experience) or MS (8+ years’ experience) in statistics/biostatistics with clinical trials
• Proficiency in SAS, R or Python and advanced analysis, data manipulation, and simulations
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
• Expertise in statistical methodology for clinical development and ability to apply to regulatory framework
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple work assignments and manage projects
• People management experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in design of innovative and efficient clinical trials and contributes to strategy
• Defends protocols and analysis plans at governance reviews and reviews complex protocols
• Authors/reviews protocol, SAP, CSR, publications, and study documents
• Presents data and analyses clearly and transparently
• Provides statistical support for health authority communications and publications
• Manages multiple studies to ensure consistency and adherence to standards
