Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking an Associate Director of Biostatistics to contribute to trial design, analysis planning and regulatory submissions. This role collaborates with cross‑functional teams and senior statisticians to deliver robust statistical outcomes across indications.

The position emphasizes leadership, regulatory engagement, and ongoing development within a dynamic drug development environment at our Madison, NJ site.

Qualifications

• PhD (6+ years’ experience) or MS (8+ years’ experience) in statistics or biostatistics with clinical trials/drug development experience.
• Proficiency in SAS, R or Python and advanced statistical methods; data manipulation, graphing and simulation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in design of innovative and efficient clinical trials, including endpoint selection and study objectives.
• Defend protocols and analysis plans at governance reviews and provide independent reviews of complex protocols.
• Independently author/review protocol, SAP, clinical study reports and related documents.
• Present data and analyses clearly and concisely to stakeholders and health authorities.
