Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Senior Biostatistician to apply advanced statistical models to evaluate and predict program outcomes for USSOCOM initiatives. The role involves data cleansing, analysis, and producing reliable findings to support leadership decisions. Candidates must have a PhD in a related field, 5+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to communicate findings clearly.

U.S. citizenship and a Secret-level clearance are required for contract performance.

Qualifications

• PhD in Human Performance, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Behavioral/Social Science, or related discipline.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in related field.
• Knowledge of qualitative and/or quantitative methods and analyses to develop, adapt, modify, and apply models.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; negotiate complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy advanced methods to analyze operational data and derive insights for stakeholders.
• Function as data/analytic lead across multiple projects and guide product performance improvements.
• Analyze extracted data, identify trends and provide insights on operations and project data.
• Develop and implement new metrics, functions, and scripts as KPIs as needed.
• Code to segment populations from large datasets and ensure data accuracy.
• Create and maintain documentation and artifacts.
• Ad hoc tool development to support analytical areas.
• Learn emerging technologies relevant to company initiatives.
• Support team communication and strategy implementation.
• Engage in project management activities.
