Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Senior Biostatistician to apply advanced analytical methods to human performance programs for USSOCOM. The role involves modeling, data gathering and cleansing to produce reliable findings for leadership, and supporting health and behavioral research to ensure mission-aligned outcomes.

U.S. citizenship is required with an active Secret security clearance or eligibility. The position is contingent on contract award and will support POTFF initiatives across enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• PhD in Human Performance, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Behavioral/Social Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a related field.
• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; to engage with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy advanced methods to analyze operational data and derive insights for stakeholders.
• Serve as point of contact for data usage across projects and guide product performance improvements.
• Analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights on operations and project data.
• Develop and implement new metrics, functions, and scripts as KPIs as needed.
• Code to segment populations from large enterprise datasets and ensure data accuracy.
• Create and maintain documentation and artifacts for projects.
• Support learning of emerging technologies for company initiatives.
• Participate in meetings to align strategy and communication.
• Engage in project management activities for assigned initiatives.
• Provide guidance for USSOCOM POTFF program analysis and evaluation.
• Lead the design and adaptation of mathematical and statistical models.
