Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Senior Biostatistician to lead advanced statistical modeling, research design, and data interpretation for enterprise human performance initiatives. You will guide analytical standards and support government customer activities, ensuring actionable insights across programs.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with governmental staff, and developing methodological approaches to improve performance outcomes within USSOCOM POTFF

Qualifications

• PhD in Human Performance, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Behavioral/Social Science or related discipline.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a related field.
• Ability to gather, analyze facts, draw conclusions, and craft briefings or reports for top management.
• Effective oral and written communication; ability to negotiate and present solutions.
• Ability to lead research teams and execute studies within time/budget constraints.

Responsibilities

• Lead scientific work designing, developing, and adapting mathematical and statistical models.
• Apply analytical methods to improve human performance initiatives.
• Support enterprise-wide POTFF program evaluation and measures of effectiveness.
• Provide technical guidance across projects and major phases of work.
• Attend meetings and stay current in statistics and related fields.
