Job summary

BD is seeking a Statistician/Biostatistician to support product development, clinical studies, and business decisions within a regulated healthcare environment. The role requires a Masters or PhD in Statistics/ Biostatistics with 3+ years in regulated settings, strong R/SAS programming, and the ability to communicate complex results to stakeholders.

You will design studies, develop analysis plans, and ensure analyses meet quality and regulatory standards while collaborating across functions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in regulated healthcare, life sciences, or medical device environments.
• Experience applying statistical methods to product development, clinical research, or clinical trials.
• Proficiency in programming, documenting, and validating analyses using R and/or SAS.
• Experience solving statistical and analytical challenges, and leading cross-functional influence without authority.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in fast-paced settings.
• Experience with technical report writing and presenting statistical findings.
• Experience in stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, analyze, and interpret studies and experiments supporting product development and business decisions.
• Develop and review study protocols, case report forms, and regulatory documents.
• Develop and maintain statistical analysis plans; consult for complex situations.
• Program, document, validate, and maintain statistical code in R and/or SAS for data management, analysis, visualization, and reporting.
• Apply statistical methodologies to address analytical challenges and deliver high-quality reports and insights.
• Present findings to cross-functional stakeholders and contribute to scientific publications or conferences.
