Job summary

BD is seeking a Statistician/Biostatistician to support product development, clinical studies, and business decisions within a regulated healthcare environment. The role focuses on study design, statistical analysis, and translating results into actionable recommendations.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or PhD in Statistics or Biostatistics and has hands-on experience with R and SAS in clinical research or medical device settings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related quantitative field (or equivalent).
• 3+ years of experience in regulated healthcare, life sciences, or medical device environments.
• Experience applying statistical methods to product development or clinical research.
• Proficiency in programming, documenting, and validating analyses using R and/or SAS.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, analyze, and interpret studies supporting product development and business decisions.
• Develop and review study protocols and regulatory documents.
• Develop and maintain statistical analysis plans and code in R/SAS.
• Produce clear statistical reports for internal and external audiences.
• Present findings to cross-functional stakeholders and contribute to publications when appropriate.
