Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a subject matter expert in single-use bioreactors and upstream bioprocess requirements. You will lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with product managers and NPI teams to shape product directions, engage with customers, and support commercial discussions.

Strong communication, leadership, and travel readiness are essential to this role. You will oversee documentation, publish industry content, and develop sales tools while driving adoption of best practices in cell

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biology, or Biotechnology is required.
• Extensive experience in cell culture development/manufacturing for protein therapeutics.
• Experience operating, optimizing, and scaling cell culture with single-use equipment.
• Preferred: experience with Xcellerex bioreactors platforms.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills; ability to tailor reports for diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to motivate, influence, and lead global cross-functional teams.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%, domestically or internationally.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in single-use bioreactors and upstream bioprocess requirements.
• Provide leadership across product, process, and performance domains.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and new product introduction teams.
• Engage with customers and industry groups to influence technical direction and shape product requirements.
• Oversee process, performance, design, and documentation while influencing new product requirements and industry standards.
• Support commercial and internal teams during customer technical discussions.
• Assist Product Managers in creating technical sales tools, including application notes, reports, publications, and presentations.
• Publish relevant industry content and keep teams informed of trends and evolving standards.
• Present detailed product information to customers and user groups.
