Job summary

Cytiva in Marlborough, MA or Duncan, SC seeks a Principal Bioreactor Technology & Industry Leader to drive leadership in single-use bioreactors and upstream bioprocessing. You collaborate with Product Managers and customers to influence product direction and requirements.

You will lead cross-functional teams, publish industry content, and present to clients. Travel up to 20% with a base salary of $190,000–$210,000 USD and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biology or Biotechnology.
• Experience in cell culture development and/or manufacturing producing protein therapeutics.
• Operated, optimized, and scaled up cell culture processes using single-use equipment, with Xcellerex platforms preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for clear technical reporting and presentations.
• Proven ability to motivate, influence and lead global, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide inter-disciplinary product leadership across process, performance, design and documentation while influencing new product requirements and industry standards.
• Support commercial and internal teams during customer technical discussions, gathering requirements and delivering technical solutions.
• Assist Product Managers in creating technical sales tools, application notes, reports, and presentations.
• Publish industry content and keep teams informed of trends and evolving standards.
• Present to customers and user groups, delivering detailed information and building product enthusiasm.
