Job summary

MMR Consulting is seeking an experienced Bioprocess Engineer to join our team for design, project execution and commissioning of biopharmaceutical process systems. You will lead engineers, engage with clients, and coordinate across automation, facilities, validation and QA to deliver projects.

The role requires leadership skills to guide teams of junior engineers, with occasional on-site work at client facilities. Travel and relocation support are available as needed.

Qualifications

• GMP requirements knowledge for pharma/biotech facilities.
• Experience leading teams of engineers.
• Strong English communication for technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance for design, project management, commissioning and start-up of equipment and facilities.
• Support project execution from feasibility through handover across all stages.
• Prepare/review process engineering drawings and calculations (PFDs, P&IDs, heat/mass balances).
• Review specs and data sheets for equipment, instrumentation, and systems.
• Manage external vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver projects.
