Revolution Medicines is seeking a creative biophysicist to accelerate target validation, hit confirmation, and drug discovery across our oncology portfolio. You will lead orthogonal biophysical approaches to understand protein quality and interactions, enabling rapid progression from screening hits to validated leads.

The role partners with Structural Biology, Medicinal Chemistry, Discovery Biology, and Assay Development to drive mechanistic understanding and faster project decisions,

Qualifications

• Ph.D. with 8+ years in industry drug discovery.
• Strong experimental design, data interpretation, and selection of orthogonal approaches.
• Extensive hands-on protein biochemistry and biophysics experience.
• Ability to integrate biophysics with chemistry, structural biology, and biology to guide decisions.
• Independent work style with collaborative teamwork ability.

Responsabilités

• Serve as biophysical expert on multidisciplinary discovery teams.
• Design, execute, and interpret quantitative biophysical experiments.
• Develop orthogonal strategies to accelerate hit confirmation and mechanistic understanding.
• Build and optimize workflows for recombinant proteins and complexes.
• Characterize weak, transient, and cooperative protein interactions.
• Develop robust biophysical assays, workflows, and best practices.
