Job summary

Denver Health is seeking a Biomedical Technician III to maintain clinical equipment under MEMPs and follow its business standards. The role includes installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and supporting the Biomed team to meet targets.

You will guide Technicians I and II and participate in equipment evaluations. Required are an Associate's Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology and at least 6 years' experience with medical equipment, plus CBET (desired) and Colorado driver's license.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology is required.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a technical field with medical equipment; 2 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
• CBET certification desired; Colorado Driver's License Class R required.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance, installation, calibration, diagnostics and repairs of medical equipment (infusion pumps, patient warmers, ventilators, imaging, anesthesia).
• Maintains CMMS records and documentation; orders parts and coordinates with vendors.
• Evaluates and assists in selecting new equipment and accessories; coordinates special projects.
• Provides technical guidance to Biomed Tech I/II; assists lead technician to meet targets.
