Job summary

TriMedx is seeking a Biomedical Technician III to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify highly complex biomedical equipment. You will advise clinicians on safe operation and contribute to equipment specifications and department improvement while mentoring colleagues.

This on-site role requires at least 5 years of clinical engineering experience, strong computer and networking skills, and travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment.
• 2-year degree in technical/electronics or equivalent; certification may waive.
• Strong computer and networking skills; able to troubleshoot and interpret error codes.
• Valid driver's license with willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform PA inspections, maintenance, ESI, and OVP on complex biomedical equipment.
• Repair, install, and calibrate equipment as needed.
• Inform supervisors about repair status and customer concerns.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure service delivery.
• Maintain equipment database and PA schedules for accuracy.
• Adhere to MEMP and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with clinicians and customers.
• Manage inventory accuracy and perform incoming inspections.
