Job summary

Trimedx is hiring a Biomedical Technician III to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair and calibrate complex biomedical equipment. This role serves clinical and administrative staff, advising on safe usage and equipment selection, while mentoring others and contributing to department improvements.

Requires 5+ years in a clinical engineering environment, strong computer and communication skills, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering setting.
• Strong computer skills including system administration and troubleshooting.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform PA inspections, maintenance, ESI and OVP on complex biomedical equipment.
• Repair, install and calibrate systems as needed with minimal supervision.
• Inform supervisors about repair status and any customer concerns.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure service delivery.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to department improvements.
