Job summary

GE HealthCare’s Repair Operations Center invites engineers to support refurbishment and remanufacture within the GoldSeal Operation. You will fabricate and assemble fixtures, run data acquisition tests, document results, and lead quality activities while collaborating across departments.

Ideal candidates bring technical experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work with limited supervision; lifting up to 35 lbs and rigorous safety practices are required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or high school diploma with 2 years of technical experience and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to draw accurate conclusions from test data and assist with design or process corrections.
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical information and work with limited direction.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs and perform required physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work with a safety-first mindset to keep self and team safe.
• Maintain accurate records in line with good documentation practices.
• Test production assemblies and sub-assemblies for correct operation and performance.
• Interface with other departments to ensure smooth materials and information flow.
• Use initiative to evaluate engineering models and assist in development.
• Conduct diagnostic tests to achieve root cause analysis and resolve issues.
• Evaluate software and hardware and implement plans using product knowledge and tools.
• Communicate technical information to improve internal and external components.
• Provide feedback and leadership in engineering, manufacturing, or service documentation.
• Contribute to team goals and provide technical leadership for troubleshooting.
• Lead compliance and quality activities by identifying defect trends and quality issues.
• Act as manufacturing expert on new product introductions and assist in development of new procedures.
• Complete planned Quality, Compliance, and Safety training within deadlines.
