Qualifications

• Associates degree or high school diploma with 2 years technical experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot at subsystem and system level using identifiable problem solving techniques.
• Ability to draw accurate conclusions from test data, malfunctions, or deviations and assist with corrections to the design or process.
• Ability to understand and interpret basic written technical information.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with limited direction and information.

Responsibilities

• Work with a safety-first mindset to keep self and other team members safe
• Maintain accurate records consistent with good documentation practices
• Test production assemblies and sub-assemblies for correct operation and compliance to performance specifications
• Interfaces with other departments to ensure the orderly flow of materials and information
• Construct and assist in evaluating engineering models using initiative and independent judgment
• Perform advanced troubleshooting to achieve root cause analysis and problem resolution
• Conduct diagnostic tests as required to draw conclusions
• Provide technical leadership by assisting others in troubleshooting and seeking engineering assistance
• Lead compliance and quality activities by identifying defect trends and communicating findings to technicians
• Support new product introductions by providing feedback to engineering and manufacturing teams
