Job summary

The Florida Department of Health seeks an OPS Government Operations Consultant II to oversee the administration and monitoring of biomedical research grants. You will manage the full grant lifecycle from pre-award to closeout, work with Principal Investigators, and ensure compliance with terms, budgets, and reporting.

This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, and the ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proficient experience with Microsoft Office 365 Applications.
• Experience with grant management lifecycle including pre-award, post-award, reconciliation and closeout.
• Strong data collection, analysis, and reporting to support grant administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage the administration and monitoring of biomedical research grants from inception to closeout.
• Collaborate with Principal Investigators and Sponsored Research Officers on grant terms, amendments and compliance.
• Track budgets, prepare progress reports, and ensure timely invoicing within compliance requirements.
