Job summary

Trimedx is seeking a Senior Technician to guide the clinical equipment program across a hospital and multiple sites. You will install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify the performance of highly complex medical equipment, and you will lead the work of technicians under the Site Manager.

You will educate clinical staff on the technical integration of medical systems and help manage daily operations, PM scheduling, and project implementation.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent military experience or two year of equivalent experience.
• Technical Certification such as A+, CBET, CRES or CLES preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment.
• CE experience and knowledge and an ability to influence others.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM, PV, ESI and OVP on highly complex biomedical equipment.
• Repair, install and calibrate complex medical devices.
• Inform departments of repair status and inspections.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors and outside technicians.
• Lead service operations and special projects; manage staff schedules.
• Travel to sites and support cross-site data collection and analysis.
