Trimedx is seeking a skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician to own and optimize complex clinical equipment. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain devices, ensuring uptime and patient safety while advising clinicians on best practices.

This role involves leading projects, mentoring technicians, and collaborating with biomedical engineering teams across a national footprint, with travel as needed. A strong electronics background and CBET are valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of biomedical equipment experience in a clinical engineering setting.
• Strong expertise in complex systems, diagnostics, networking, and hardware repair.
• Associate degree in electronics/technical field or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; CBET certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of highly complex equipment—driving uptime, safety, and performance.
• Solve advanced technical issues others can’t, from system diagnostics to networked devices.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clinicians and leadership on equipment use and strategy.
• Lead projects and mentor technicians, raising the capability of the entire team.
