Job summary

St. Luke's Health Network, Inc. is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician II to repair and maintain clinical equipment, document service activities, and act as a subject matter expert. You will lead technical projects and provide in-service trainings while traveling to various locations as needed.

The role requires five years of BE technician experience, an associate degree in electronic technology, and strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Safety and regulatory compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Five years' experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician II.
• Five unique device classes of formal training with certificate.
• Five projects as a Key Contributor / Lead Tech.
• Electronics fundamentals knowledge and anatomy/physiology understanding.

Responsibilities

• Provides repair & maintenance on assigned equipment to meet specs or AEM program.
• Documents all medical equipment service and maintenance accurately.
• Acts as consultant and SME in areas related to responsibilities.
• Performs project management duties for technical, clinical, and in-service support.
• Evaluates equipment failures to identify trends and problems.
• Assists with installation and de-installation of medical equipment.
• Provides on-call support, including travel to other sites.
• Maintains compliance with Joint Commission and regulatory agencies.
• Supervises and instructs biomedical staff in safe use and maintenance.
