Job summary

Capital i is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Repair Technician (BMET) Level III at Tracy Army Depot, Tracy, CA. This senior role performs operational and safety testing, maintenance and repairs on patient care equipment, and also handles project management and equipment planning.

Preferred qualifications include DoD BMET course or CBET certification or an AAS in Medical Equipment Technology, plus at least 6 years of BMET experience.

Qualifications

• BMETs shall be graduates of the DoD BMET course or CBET certified or have an AAS in Medical Equipment Technology.
• Minimum 6 years of BMET experience.
• Must know maintenance actions: inspections, repair, calibrations/PMCS, and overhaul.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical inspections of new, used, or reconditioned medical equipment.
• Perform maintenance actions including repairs, calibrations, PMCS, and overhauls.
• Ensure compliance with military and federal biomedical equipment safety standards.
• Utilize Army systems (DMLSS, SAMS-E, TEWLS, GCSS).
• Collaborate with manufacturers for support and updates.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance actions.
