Job summary

Goldbelt Apex, LLC is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician II in Tracy, CA to perform maintenance cycles on Medical Equipment Sets and ensure proper functioning through inspections, repair, and overhaul. The role requires navigating Army maintenance systems and maintaining thorough records.

The position demands DoD training, CBET or equivalent certification, and a minimum of 3 years BMET experience. Travel about 25% and lifting up to 40 pounds are expected; a US citizen is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of schematics and works under relatively close supervision on repairs, safety testing, and preventive maintenance (PM)
• Has advanced knowledge of policies, practices, procedures, and types of equipment
• Must possess knowledge maintenance actions: technical inspections, repair, calibrations/PMCS, and overhaul of medical equipment
• Good communication and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Maintains records, writes reports, and coordinates outside repairs
• Complete technical inspections of new, used or reconditioned medical equipment
• Complete repair of damaged medical equipment
• Complete overhaul of medical equipment
• Use authorized Army Automation Systems, including DMLSS, SAMS-E, TEWLS, GCSS and other systems
• Possess the training and abilities to inspect, repair, calibrate, and overhaul medical equipment
• Perform calibration and PMCS
